AIIMS NORCET-11 overview
NORCET is the national Nursing Officer recruitment examination conducted by AIIMS New Delhi for participating AIIMS and other government institutes and hospitals. Nursing Officer posts carry Level-7 of the pay matrix, subject to the recruiting institute and applicable allowances.

Eligibility
- B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution with Nurse and Midwife registration; or
- GNM from a recognized institution, Nurse and Midwife registration, and at least two years experience in a 50-bedded hospital after qualification
- General age range: 18 to 30 years, with applicable government relaxation
Exam pattern
Stage-I is a 100-question, 90-minute CBT with 80 nursing and 20 GK/aptitude questions. Stage-II is a 160-question, 180-minute CBT. The supplied notice states one-third negative marking in both stages.

Priority subjects include Nursing Foundation, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Community Health, Mental Health, Child Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Research and Statistics, Nursing Management, Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Nutrition, current affairs, reasoning, aptitude, computer awareness, and English.
