🎓 4-Year B.Sc. Nursing eligibility

The 4-year B.Sc. Nursing programme is only for female candidates.

• 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology
• General category: minimum 45% in PCB
• SC/ST/OBC: minimum 40% in PCB
• English must be passed individually
• Candidates appearing for 10+2 in 2026 could apply, subject to submission of their passing certificate/marks sheet before the entrance examination.
• Age on 1 September 2026: minimum 17 years and maximum 35 years.

• OBC: 25
• PwBD: 5 horizontal reservation

📄 If you are shortlisted for counselling

This is particularly important:

• Document verification and counselling are physical/in-person at PGIMER Chandigarh.
• Original documents are mandatory.
• DigiLocker documents will not be accepted.
• Candidates must attend document verification/interview personally.
• The institute may call approximately 3 times the number of seats in each category, subject to the cutoff/institute decision.

For the 4-year course, documents include:

• 10th certificate/DOB and DMC
• 12th DMC
• SC/ST/OBC certificate, if applicable
• PwBD certificate, if applicable
• Equivalency certificate for foreign nationals, where applicable.

💰 Fees at admission

For B.Sc. Nursing 4 Years:

• Course fee: ₹835
• Security: ₹5,000
• Separate DD/Banker’s Cheque is required for fee and security according to the prospectus.

Selected candidates must deposit the required amount on the day of counselling, otherwise their selection can be cancelled and the seat offered to the waiting-list candidate.

🏠 Hostel

The prospectus lists:

• Hostel security: ₹1,500, refundable without interest
• Hostel fund: ₹2,000, one-time and non-refundable
• Single room rent: ₹2,400/year
• Sharing: ₹1,200/year per head
• Electricity: ₹500/year per head
• Desert cooler charges are additional during summer.
